Today has been a tough day at work. However there was some highlights such as a couple texts from my friend
Maggie with an invite to come and see baby Emmanuel who I can’t wait to hold again because he’s so darn cute! Thank you that made me smile!

A lending ear from my coworker Janice when I just needed to vent – thank you!

A phone call to Mom to hear about how her surprise retirement party went and all the wonderful things people said and how special it was, and they liked my heartfelt letter 🙂 thank you to all those who were there to celebrate her this Saturday you truly made her day!

Thank you to my hubby for putting on a chick flick to cheer me up and gave me a sweet foot massage 🙂

And finally an invite from my deaf friend Anja for a much needed lunch away from my ball and chain desk! Thank you!

I really like this being thankful deal with myself. In what appeared to be a horrible day, now that I reflect on it I found not 1 but several things and people to thank!
