As I woke up lil c this morning I had to really convince her to get up, the most convincing sentence of the day: “Today is like if it were Thursday, then tomorrow is Friday and then Saturday and then Saturday and then Saturday, and then Saturday and then Sunday… So we are thankful for a looooong weekend!

I’m thankful that I had an extremely productive day, I guess when it’s quiet, you get more done at work and that is a great thing, I really needed that quiet time.

I’m thankful that I was able to help a friend in need today. And it was nice that gratitude was met with my favorite Starbucks: Gingerbread Latte, and that it earned me another badge with foursquare (hehehehe).  Going to that Starbucks I had never been to before also made us aware that they opened a Mighty Fine right near us (yippeee) Which means that yes we ate Hamburgers for dinner! Does this fall into the “things happen for a reason”.

I’m extremely grateful for Mrs Evans who took lil c to her house for a playdate as I was helping my dear friend. Lil c was extremely thankful for the playdate as she had a blast on the trampoline with her friends.

Thankful for Surprises: Hubby came home earlier than usual which was good considering that hamburgers were nice and warm! and it’s nice that he arrived when it was still daylight. He event stopped at the HEB to pick up some things for me to make Chili for his potluck and as a surprise brought me a rosemary bush shaped as a xmas tree that I can put in my kitchen for the holidays (before I plant it) and it’s already making my kitchen smell so nice!

And to top the afternoon off, lil c took out the latest kit she got from Mad Science “test tube and PH scale” and together they tried different liquids around the house to see what was more acidic.  They had a great time with this, gotta love this geeky cool house!
