Here’s my anecdote for today: “Your Subconscious does the talking when you are tired”

lil c: Mom I have a question about this Math problem!
Me: hold on, I’m trying to figure out how many cookies I need to order for our cookie booths. Give me a minute.
lil c: Ok but we have a lot of cookies in the garage. Why do you want more?
Me: Yeah I know but we need more for this weekend’s 3 booths.
lil c: is this your new job?
Me: Yeah this year I’m the cookie monster remember?
Lil c: Laughing uncontrollably
Me: why are you laughing? It’s a lot of work you know? And I do have a real job on top of this too
Lil c: (noticing that I must not be in the best of moods based on my answer) you meant you are the Cookie mom right?
Me: yes what’s so funny about that?
lil c: I think you need a break, you said you are the Cookie Monster!

Then we both burst out laughing. YES I need a break! 🙂
