Starting out the summer now that school is over, Carolina heads to Yellowstone National Park with her Mimi and Papa.
We prepared for this trip by watching the Yogi Bear movie, which was quite fun! Carolina thought it would be cool if they found Yogi and Boo-boo at the Park and he stole their Picnic basket…
I dropped them off at the airport at the crack of dawn (literally) and they hopped on a plane on their way to Wyoming. They arrived at what surely must be one of the nicest views from the airport that exist out there… Beautiful mountains, cool crisp air and their 1st sighting of antler arches.
Their first adventure started arriving at their beautiful wooden cabin, the natural surroundings followed by a wonderful nice dinner that included Carolina’s favorites (Lasagna and chocolate cake).
The Next day they explored the town of Jackson Hole, visiting the natural life museum, the stores, I’m sure they had dessert again knowing Carolina 😉
The following day they woke up at the crack of dawn, went to the deli to get their sandwiches and they were ready to go on their day private tour. This was the adventure of the summer, geisers, wild life, Old Faithful, Grand Teton, Bears, elk, you name it, they saw it! The slideshow below captures their tour.
Carolina came home extremely excited of everything she saw, learned, experienced, touched, smelled, the patch she earned for her Girl scout vest, the hiking, the exploring, the siting and overall the quality and quantity time spent with her Mimi and Papa!
